Join Jeremy Corbyn, Palestinian journalist Ashira Darwisch and Claudia Webbe at our Opening Night Special re-screening of Where Olive Trees Weep  (winner of last year’s Ndinadsawapanga Award).

The film offers a searing window into the struggles and resilience of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. It explores themes of loss, trauma, and the quest for justice.

We follow, among others, Palestinian journalist and therapist Ashira Darwish, grassroots activist Ahed Tamimi, and Israeli journalist Amira Hass. We also watch Dr. Gabor Maté support a group of women seeking understanding and healing and offer his insights into intergenerational trauma.

Ancient landscapes bear deep scars. Yet, we catch a glimpse of resilience—deep roots that have carried the Palestinian people through decades of darkness and shattered lives.

This emotional journey bares the humanity of the oppressed, while grappling with deep questions for us all.

Our Opening Night charitable Screening is in partnership with the Peace and Justice Project. The screening will be followed by a post-screening Q&A with Jeremy Corbyn, Producer and main protagonist Ashira Darwish. The conversation will be facilitated by  Claudia Webbe.

All Profits will go to DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee) and Doctors Without Borders to help the people in Gaza.
