Maria Se Fue was created by going to all 78 municipalities, specifically las montañas y el campo (the mountains and the countryside), which were the most heavily affected areas.
This film is a compilation of Boricua interviews that serves as a platform for their story; of how they truly recovered and the effects that are still felt nearly two years after the storm.
