After a spectacular festival in London, with an opening gala at the BFI and closing gala party at the Oscar’s Bar at the Odeon Leicester Square, we are expanding to US shores with even more films an exciting industry networking event and a Gala dinner and Awards Ceremony worth travelling for!

A powerful theme of ending cultural genocide has been emerging this year and we are excited to see how this develops at the US festival and/or what new themes emerge. With exciting films such as Remember Me: The Mahalia Jackson Story, the Ukrainian epic Slovo House: Unfinished Novel, the US Premiere of Purple Beatz with its diverse and predominantly female theme and a plethora of excellent short films including Lilian, from well known actress, but first time director Cathy Elizabeth Tyson, South Florida is in for a unique and exhilarating film experience and we can hardly wait to announce some of the special events we have planned! check out the Full Festival Program.
