Milton’s father’s vision had been to bring his love of early Hollywood to his cafe, in order to bring a touch of movie-making magic to the slightly run-down, sleepy seaside community where they lived.

Years later, his father has passed and Milton has inherited the cafe, but lost the dream.

Now – faced with mounting debts and declining hopes – he has reached the point where his only option seems to be to borrow money from the town loan shark Big J.

However, when old flame Jenna comes to town with a radical idea to try and restore the cafe’s fortunes, everything changes. The idea is this: the Silver Screen Dreams Cafe will be transformed into the Silver Screen Dreams Film Studio. Instead of talking about films, they will make them. Local films, telling local stories, about local people.

However, Erica Forster- the towns rather ruthless property developer- is intent on buying up the cafe to turn it into yet another block of flats- her underhand ways forcing Milton to sell the cafe and give up on his film-making dreams.

Silver Screen Dreams’ is a story about beginning again.

It’s about a community coming together ,both on and off-screen, lives being re-invented and the fact that

‘it’s never too late to change your story’…

I Will Tell is proud to partner with Top and Tail Productions and Silver Screen Community Film Studios, a Wythenshawe based community film studio telling stories of life, hope and fun.
