Camille Selvon

My Story
Camille Selvon is an award-winning digital media innovator and CEO of Animae Caribe House, a Trinidad and Tobago based digital production hub that operates as a satellite studio for a growing network of micro-studios across the Caribbean. A pioneering force in regional animation and new media, she is the founding Director of the Animae Caribe Festival, the Caribbean’s premier animation event for over two decades, where she has shaped talent development and industry growth across the region.
Her leadership has earned international recognition, with engagements on global platforms including the United Nations MIPAD forum and Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX). She was instrumental in securing the IDB Lab–funded TTAP Factory, developing a scalable model for digital content creation and outsourcing pipelines that has helped seed numerous Caribbean-inspired IPs.
A driving advocate for technological transformation in the creative industries, Camille is currently pursuing an MPhil/Inter-PhD focused on the impact of exponential technologies — particularly artificial intelligence — on art, design, and the future of the creative sector. Her work champions responsible AI adoption and capacity-building across regional studios and education systems.
Throughout her career, Camille has cultivated an expansive global network spanning institutions such as Disney, Pixar, EA Games, Toon Boom, and Cartoon Network, while receiving accolades including the Royal Television Society Student Award, the Caribbean Tales Innovation in Animation Award, and the Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival Pioneer in Film Award.
