My Story

Jason Matthewson is an international, award winning actor, producer and writer from Ireland. Jason studied at the world-famous Stella Adler Conservatory in Los Angeles. Matthewson is a partner at film/TV production company The Old Film Farm Ltd.

Recently, Jason has successfully produced a string of scripted film and TV content, such as “Suppression”, “That’s Just Me”, “Clock”, “Hayfields”, “Family Matters” and the award winning “When The Rain Ends” along with TV format content and a string of commercial content.

Jason is a co founder and director of The Gold Movie Awards®, which is fast becoming one of the most renowned film festivals and awards ceremonies in the UK. Jason is now based in London and preparing to produce a series of projects such as comedy series “Matchmakers”, spy thriller “Anonymous”, WW1 drama “Charlie Safe Home”, genre picture “Nemesis: Fallen Eagle” and his latest feature film “Your Reality”which is scheduled to go into production summer of 2022.

‘CLOCK’, is scheduled to premiere at the BFI on Thursday 7th July as apart of the I Will Tell Film Festival 2022.

Jason will be joining us after the premier screening of ‘ClOCK’  on 7th July at 7:00pm for a special Q&A session.
