My Story

Chris Mitchell is a classically trained composer based in Reading, with numerous concert hall, stage and screen credits. “Ruckus” (composer) achieved a BFI Future Film Award and a BAFTA nomination (long list). He has a range of credits for the BBC including conducting, arranging and performing. Recent film scores and sound design commissions have included: “Formal Friday – Corona Connections” (featured in Hollywood Reporter); “Who Killed Arthur Oliver” (Rabble Theatre/BBC Radio); NHS Blessing (Lucy Bunce); “Look Hear” (Baker Street Productions). He
is currently working on a slate of new film/TV projects with up-and-coming British director, Ben Wicks and “Mountain”, a documentary feature with award-winning director, Simon Ratigan. As well as running his own production facility, Clear Sky Studio, he is developing new live music collaborations with University of Reading, Reading Borough Council and Reading Minster, including”Reading Global Festival” and “Music for Healing”.
