Set during Japan’s Meiji era, this historical drama tells the true story of Gunpei Yamamuro, born into a poor farming family in Okayama. Driven by a desire to help others, he travels to Tokyo,
encounters Christianity and ultimately devotes his life to serving others, becoming a pioneering leader in the development of The Salvation Army in Japan.
