Syndrome
Syndrome
SYNDROME follows Leo, a university student quietly navigating life with chronic illness and the loss of Eve, the only person who truly understood the reality of what he was going through, the person who shared his experience and understood the reality of living with illness. Unable to let go of the connection they shared, Leo records voice memos on his phone as a way of continuing their conversations, speaking to her as if she is still there, sharing the thoughts, fears, and moments he can no longer tell anyone else. As he moves through lectures, friendships, and familiar routines, these recordings become a space where grief, memory, and longing collide. SYNDROME is an intimate portrait of invisible illness, loss, and the quiet struggle of holding yourself together when the person who made you feel seen is gone.
