When motion-sensor lights are installed in a rural village school, the children delight in the new technology. But for Zeynep, one of the school’s few girls, the lights never turn on. As her mysterious invisibility raises unsettling questions, the film becomes a powerful allegory about belonging, exclusion, and equal opportunity.
