The 21

21 Coptic martyrs are killed by ISIS in Libya in 2015. This film is a 11 minute animation whose aesthetic is rooted in Coptic iconography. It begins with the men being abducted by ISIS and gathered in an underground prison, persecuted for their faith and finally paraded onto the beach and killed. More than 60 artists from over 20 countries contributed to the creation of the film.
