Film Animation 2 day Workshop
This two day workshop will allow participants to gain a basic understanding of what
is needed to get into the world of animation. Participants will be exposed to basic techniques,
principles and fundamentals which will allow them to appreciate the art of animation.
You will be exposed to the concept,treatment, character design, environment design and overall
aesthetic approach to the animated idea. This 2 day workshop will allow participants to critically
analyse, interpret and execute ideas for the creation of their own treatment for an animation short
or pilot for a series. The end product will be a draft production bible which can be used to support a pitch for funding.
Camille Selvon Abrahams is the festival director for the Animae Caribe festival
and an award winning animator. Camille created the first animation diploma at the
University of Trinidad and Tobago and her 10 years service in this field has won her numerous accolades and respect
including the Caribbean Tales Award in Toronto Canada for Innovation in the field of Animation in the Caribbean.
